Orthodontic care for American patients in Germany
Our practice warmly welcomes American patients living in Germany. We provide orthodontic treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, offering individualized treatment concepts tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
First consultation
The first step is an initial consultation appointment. During this visit, your individual situation will be assessed, existing dental and skeletal irregularities will be explained, and potential treatment options will be discussed. This consultation provides an opportunity to understand the nature of the orthodontic problem and the possible approaches to treatment.
Diagnostics
If orthodontic treatment appears appropriate, a comprehensive diagnostic appointment will be scheduled. This may include clinical examination, photographs, digital scans, radiographs, and other diagnostic records necessary for treatment planning.
Treatment planning
Once the diagnostic records have been evaluated, a separate treatment planning appointment will be arranged. During this visit, the proposed treatment plan, expected treatment duration, available treatment options, associated risks and limitations, as well as the estimated costs of treatment will be reviewed in detail.
Costs
Please note that orthodontic treatment costs may not be covered, or may only be partially covered, by your dental or medical insurance provider. Coverage and reimbursement depend on the individual insurance policy and should be clarified directly with the respective insurance carrier.
